Happy New Year (Ish)!

Hello Friends and Happy Black History Month

It has been a LONG time since I have posted, life has been lif’ing LOL! I was in the trenches in a Master’s of Public Health program and a new job. I am officially done and have now achieved that MPH and have added that credential to my title expeditiously. In this last two and a half years I have learned so much and have increased and refined my skills in areas that I had training in previously. Some of the key takeaways from that program was refining my research, project planning, program design and evaluation, strategic planning, and writing skills. I see this aligning with LD’s Business Services in a way that allows me to serve my community, community organization, and business owners by educating, training, and helping them to evaluate programs for effectiveness and ensuring they meet the needs of the populations they are trying to serve. LD’s Business Services is still here! I have learned over the years that I am a lifelong learner and feel at my best and in alignment with my purpose when I am helping others learn and grow and move in alignment with their mission.

My mission for 2026 is to support more organizations, business owners, and community members. Health and Human Services has always been my passion and has allowed me to gain amazing skills that transfer to other sectors of business as well and support them from a humanistic lens with whatever goals they have toward improving their business or processes. And will all that is going on right now continuing to move with humanity, empathy, courage, and a person-centered approach feels like an act of resistance (but in an amazing way)! I want to continue to do good for the most amount of people. To me, success is only truly successful if the outcome of my work does no harm to the intended recipients!

Thank you all for taking the time to read this and I wish you all a happy, healthy, thriving, 2026!
